Group CPR Training

Training at your company’s location, on your schedule

Our big break came in 1990 to begin working with the NY Marriott Marquis in Times Square to train the new hotel’s Loss Prevention Officers in a comprehensive twenty-four (24) hour professional-level CPR and First Aid Program. We still work with them and offer their officers “Bleeding and Trauma Training.” Our company grew to train many of the Independent Schools of NYC’s athletic staff, and Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) coaches in the NYS First Aid for Sports Coaches Curriculum (see coaches information), as well as their support staff and faculty. Social service agencies and community programs, medical professionals, and camps are other groups that we serve.

On-site training

Onsite training comprises groups of eight (8) or more in a client’s location, scheduled at a time that is most convenient for their business operation.

Courses include a range of CPR programs Infant/Child/Adult/AED and Basic First Aid. We can combine two programs in a business day or split them into multiple sessions. We provide one (1) manikin and AED trainer per individual and all training equipment necessary to conduct the program. The certifications will be transmitted as PDF.

Specialized Onsite Training

Triage Trauma/Bleeding Control classes will focus on readiness, the triage, and the application of First Aid skills.

  • Basic external bleeding control, abrasions/avulsions/lacerations, facial injuries to the nose, mouth, and teeth.

  • Advanced care for amputation, impaled/embedded objects, abdominal/pelvic/chest trauma situations.

  • Complex trauma situations requiring the use of a tourniquet.

  • Breathing assistance for the unconscious victim with the bag valve mask.

Regents/NYSED CPR/AED HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENT

We provide small group training for your soon-to-be High School graduates to complete the HS graduation requirement for health class of - Hands-only chest compressions (CPR) and use of an AED.

We are pleased that New York State has finally recognized the necessity for all high school students to receive training in CPR before graduation.  NYS was the 26th state to add CPR/AED practical experience to the high school graduation requirements. Lifesaving Enterprises conducted various CPR/AED and First Aid programs for many independent NYC schools since 1989. We have a variety of offerings that can fulfill the NYS requirements; of course, a complete certification program (three hours) is most beneficial, or we can provide a seminar version of 50 minutes to two hours. We utilize equipment with feedback devices and provide a small ratio of students to equipment 1:2 or 1:1. We can customize programming to fit your time and budget.
